Responsibilities include build, assembly, installation, commisioning and implementation of factory automation equipment such as:

  • Pick & place equipment

  • Manual and automated assembly equipment

  • Manual and automated testing systems

  • Robotic integration design

  • Material handling and automated gauging and inspection

  • Other custom equipment relating to medical, automotives, alternative energies, packaging equipment and related industries

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years experience with mechanical and electromechanical assembly and testing systems

  • Knowledge of all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies

  • Sound understanding of electrical and pneumatic components and schematics

  • Must understand inter-relationships of various subgroups to machine components

  • Must be able to perform troubleshooting and support testing on an assembled machine

  • Ability to work independently from product documentation

  • Able to travel occasionally for machine installation or servicing

  • High school diploma required

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing technology a plus

  • Additional education (Certificate or Associates degree) in technical field would be beneficial

  • Experience working as a machinist would be a plus and helpful

  • PLC (Siemens S7 & SiMotion), Allen BradlyProgramming skills are a huge benefit

  • Foreign language skills are a plus
